Cat Blanket No.1

These are the most recent images of a blanket I’m working on! I’ve since completed the 12th square and sewn in all of the ends for each square. Each square represents a different breed and/or colouration of cat, the 12th unseen one is a a grey maine coon! All other cats are as follows (Left to right):

Image 1: Tuxedo Oriental Shorthair, Colour Point Longhair Balinese, Tortoiseshell American Bobtail
Image 2: Russian Blue, White Persian
Image 3: Tabby Domestic Shorthair (Represented with our cat Teacup), Sphynx, Abyssinian
Image 4: Orange American Curl, Chocolate British Shorthair (With heterochromia), Calico Scottish Fold

My next steps for finishing this blanket is basically crocheting a border around each square, most likely in a forest green colour, connected all of the squares with a beige colour, and crocheting a final border around the connected blanket. I’m hoping I will have this done by September as I will be entering into the GNE (Great Northern Exibition) which is a fall fair in Collingwood/Stayner that happens every year. I will post a later update with all the pieces I will be entering into the fair! It will be my second year entering, I will do a post sometime including the pieces I entered last year.
